Burlington's Hot ChocolateFest

Burlington’s 3rd annual Hot ChocolateFest will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 18-20th, 2019  begining at 9am each day. 

Join us for a weekend full of FUN!!! We will have broom ball tournaments on Echo Lake, 5K run (Sunday) through the beautiful downtown streets of Burlington, Red Hot Chili contest between area restaurants and "Who has the BEST hot chocolate" contest between participating businesses, Pancake breakfast at Veteran's Terrace on Sunday morning.

*Due to the mild forecast, ice related activities were relocated to Wehmhoff Square at corner of Washington and Pine Streets.  Only the Friday Jan. 18 activities were cancelled.

9 a.m. - noon:  Hot Chocolate tasting contest (various businesses) – see reverse

9 a.m. - 5 p.m.:  S’mores and bonfires at Wehmhoff Square

9 a.m. – 5 p.m.:  Hot Chocolate Bar serving in Gazebo at Wehmhoff Square

9 a.m. -5 p.m.:  Pick up broomball @ corner of Kane and Washington Streets

10 a.m.:  free family movie at Plaza Theater, Milwaukee Ave.

10 a.m. – noon: Snowman decorating contest at Wehmhoff Square

10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.:  scavenger hunt and youth activities at Cross Lutheran Church, State St. and Chapel Terrace   SHUTTLE AVAILABLE

10 a.m. – 3 p.m.:   Cribbage, Euchre, Poker, Sheepshead, Bunco, Dominoes and board games at Burlington Senior Center.  Chapel Terrace & State St.  SHUTTLE AVAILABLE

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.:  Soup Tent serving on Perkins Blvd. west of Wehmhoff Square

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.:  Life-size games (Jenga, Kerplunk & Connect4) in Soup Tent on Perkins Blvd. west of Wehmhoff Square

11 a.m.  – 4 p.m.:  Winter Artisan Faire at Mercantile Hall on Pine St.

11 a.m. – 5 p.m.:  remote BASD music broadcast at Wehmhoff Square

Noon:  Snowman decorating winner announced at Wehmhoff square

12:15 p.m.:  Hot Chocolate tasting winner announced at Wehmhoff Square

1 p.m. – 3 p.m.:  BINGO at St. John the Divine Church, corner of Chandler & Perkins Blvd.   SHUTTLE AVAILABLE

1 p.m. – 4 p.m.:  Chili tasting contest (various restaurants/pubs) – see reverse

1 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.:  Children’s fishing contest at Wehmhoff Square – prizes awarded

4:15 p.m.:  Chili contest winner announced at Wehmhoff Square
