Spooky Night of Poe Readings at the Black Point Estate

Edgar Allan Poe historian and local author Joshua Dubbert will present three dramatic readings of Poe's work in the parlor of Black Point Estate and Gardens on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 5:30-8:30pm. Enjoy a sunset cruise on Geneva Lake courtesy of Lake Geneva Cruise Line before docking at the estate for a spooky night of strange tales from one of America's greatest authors. Dubbert will read "The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Mask of the Red Death," and "The Raven." This evening event will be sure to get you into the Halloween spirit. A question and answer session will follow the readings. Following the program, guests will have an opportunity to explore the first floor of this 1888 Queen Anne summer cottage.
