It’s a summer-palooza in Linn on Sunday, August 11, 2019 when residents and visitors of all ages can take part in a Sunday afternoon filled with fun and food in two community-wide events presented in tandem by Linn Church, and their next door neighbor, the Town of Linn Fire Department.  The events take place on Lake Geneva’s South Shore near the intersection of Willow and Hillside in Linn Township.  

In honor of their 175thAnniversary, this year’s big first-time-ever event for the church is the VINTAGE VEHIICLES SHOW featuring all kinds of vintage cars, motorcycles and farm tractors on display – from Chevies and Fords, to Harleys and Indians, to John Deeres and Olivers and many more wheeled-wonders from local history!  The free-admission Vehicles Show is coupled with the Church’s ever-popular SUMMER ICE CREAM SOCIAL fundraiser.  Enjoy make-your-own-ice-cream-sundaes, root beer floats, delicious pies and more, with purchases benefiting the historic church’s outreach and mission programs.  The vintage car show and ice cream social will run from 12-4 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, rain or shine.  The Church’s famous rummage sale shed will also be open for shopping! These activities are organized and hosted by Linn Church member volunteers.

Adding to the Sunday afternoon’s fun, directly adjacent to the church grounds, is the 49thAnnual Town of Linn Fire Department Pig Roast fundraiser, hosted by Linn’s dedicated first responders. Stroll on over to the Fire Department directly from the Linn Church grounds for pork sandwiches, corn on the cob, refreshments and fun activities for all ages.  

For all events, park at the church at W3335 Willow Rd. or at the fire department at N1457 Hillside- and walk between their connected grounds to enjoy all the festivities.
