The Geneva Lakes Museum presents the Oak Hill Cemetary Walk on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 11am to 1pm.
Come and learn more about some of Lake Geneva’s historical families. Local Docents will provide educational and distinctive information on Oak Hill’s landscape design and famous names like Sturges and Crane. Oak Hill was founded in 1880 and is believed to have been designed by H. W. S. Cleveland, designer of Chicago’s famous Graceland Cemetery. Join us for a walking tour of this beautiful and historic place. This is being organized by the City of Lake Geneva Cemetery Committee and a contribution of $5/person and $10/family appreciated. All proceeds will go into the general cemetery fund and used for cemetery beautification projects. Additional donations welcome.
