2019 Car Show Warm-Up Saturday

We have organized a day full of roadworthy activities on Saturday, July 13th for folks who love to drive their car as a Warm-Up for Sunday’s Cars Time Forgot Car Show on Lake Lawn Resort grounds.
Complimentary activities include:
Back Road Tour, where you will drive your favorite vehicle on beautiful back roads in the neighboring countryside to Staller Estates Winery. Line up at 10:30 a.m. – leaves at 11:00 a.m.
Fun Run Gimmick Rally, where you and your passenger(s) follow a sheet of printed clues taking you through the scenic nearby area, ending up back at the resort, and the car closest to the official time and mileage wins a prize. Register your departure time and mileage, get your clue sheet and depart any time between 2:00 p.m & 3:30 p.m.
Gimmick Rally Prizes: 1st Place: $100, 2nd Place: $75, 3rd Place: $50
NEW this year, the Car Show Warm-Up Poker Run, where you drive yourself and passenger(s) to designated stops on the marked map where the driver only will draw a playing card, and the driver with the best poker hand wins a prize. Register, receive your map and depart any time between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Poker Run 1st place winner gets an awesome gift basket from the Delavan Chamber!
After participating in some or all of the day’s activities gather with other car enthusiasts at the Lakeside BBQ Buffet on the lakeside lawn which has a cash bar and live entertainment and a preview of some of the show cars already parked at the resort. Lakeside BBQ Buffet, cash bar, and entertainment – cash bar open at 6:00 p.m. buffet served at 7:00 p.m. entertainment 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
All of the Driving Activities of the day are FREE.
The Lakeside BBQ & Car Show Warm-Up Buffet has limited availability, so advance ticket purchases are recommended. This BBQ event is open to the public a la carte for $25 for adults and $15 for children 4 – 12 years old, and can be purchased at the Front Desk or at the Delavan/Delavan Area Chamber of Commerce.
