"American Pickers" Heading to Lake Geneva Area In Search of Collections

The History Channel's hit television show, "American Pickers" is heading to the Lake Geneva area this year, in search of collections to pick. Antique dealers Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, the stars of the show are looking for 'interesting characters with interesting items." They will only pick private collections - no stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public.

The show is one of the most watched programs on the cable network, which is a documentary series that explores the world of antique picking and the people living in it. The hosts take cross country journeys, in search for vintage memorabilia.  The show highlights the collectors and the collections they have amassed. The show's hosts like to recycle and restore everything from metal signs to antique motorcycles and classic cars.  When in season, new episodes air at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays on the History Channel.

If you know of a large collection or want to refer someone to the show, email details and photos of the items along with contact information to americanpickers@cineflix.com. Or call (855) OLD-RUST or Facebook via @GotAPick.
